realists – impressionists – surrealists – everywhere an ist, ist!

Ray, we get the references to painting below, and the violence, poltitricks, economic and social strife in border towns. We also recognize the themes related to the varying schools of realists – impressionists – modernists – surrealists and all the other ‘ists that lay claim to Manet – and that readers will find more insightful commentary, analysis about art and culture from sources like ARTnewsArtCAT, and news from ciudad Juarez and beyond from El Dario MXThe NY Times and so on, moreso than we can ever offer on our blog.

Oh- Indeed!

What the Gallery Club wants to know is: what’s up? You are on some real Tupac and Biggie kinda gangsta sh-t. And who’s that other thug with you?

What’s your beef with Manet? Let us know if we can help. You know we’re from Brooklyn, we go hard & Los Galeristas got your back. Just give us the word.

Cre8tive YouTH*ink announces its new home at painter Ray Smith’s Brooklyn studio!

Here are some highlights from a conversation about the future of cre8tive YouTH*ink and Los Galeristas Adolescentes with the painter Ray Smith:

Ray Smith: So what’s on the top of your wish list?
Mista Oh!:
An amazing office and work space to use as a home-base for our Spring/Summer 2011 projects.
Ray Smith:
Oh! is that it? Then put in on the bottom of your list – ’cause that one’s done!

And just like that, Ray Smith, very generously gave cre8tive YouTH*ink a home. And, what a home! With a handful of projects about to drop, can anyone imagine a better place to be?

Stay tuned for more breaking news about cre8tive YouTH*ink, and make sure that you click on the picture below to launch a fully interactive panoramic virtual tour, by Issac Martinez, of the Ray Smith Studio. Audio by Pablo Picasso.
