The Doctor Is In!

Although we were rolling only 6 deep — Ayeishia, Josh, Michael, Nibor, Nick and Mista Oh! were so stoked to have been at the opening of the Mexican-born, Dr. Lakra’s first solo NYC exhibition at the Drawing Room in Soho.

For this show, Lakra integrated works on paper into a site-specific wall drawing that references lots of Mexican and art historical traditions and borrows from anatomy textbooks, magazine pin-ups, and comic strips.
