A Blast From The Past! Los Galeristas Adolescentes check out Fred Tomaselli, Women in Pop Art, Jim Avignon, and Roman Klonek, at Factory Fresh and a whole lot of Street Art

Fred Tomaselli's Night Music for Raptors
Watch as the Los Galeristas chek out Fred Tomaselli’s mind-blowing collages and layered paintings, and ask why female artists haven’t been regarded as having done anything with popular imagery as powerful as the work of Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein or James Rosenquist.
Then Los Galeristas head over to Factory Fresh in Bushwick to check out the artists Roman Klonek and Jim Avignon for their unusual breed of pop art in Speedy Wonderland while seeing tons of great Street Art along the way. Click here to see all the fun!

New Work From Roman Klonek

Roman Klonek‘s  unique woodcut prints display a wide range of whimsical creatures, mostly half animal/half human, and mostly  in awkward situations. His work has been described as a fresh and bizarre balancing act between propaganda, folklore, old cartoons and pop. Click here to read more from Pictoplasma Berlin…

Mista Oh! has been feeling Klonek’s work since he first saw it with the Gallery Club at Speedy Wonderland, an exhibition with pop-artist Jim Avignon at the Factory Fresh Gallery in Bushwick.   Read Brooklyn Street Art’s review here.
