I love Charles Bukowski! He’s one of my favorite writers and poets. Incidentally, one of his short stories was illustrated by R. Crumb, who is part of the exhibit I saw on Friday and will be writing about on Niborama.
I whittled my huge book collection down to 2 choices when I moved to NYC: Edith Hamilton’s mythology, or a volume of Charles Bukowski’s poetry. Yes, this one.
Edith won. But my heart belongs to Hank.
