“I crochet everything that enters my space,” says Olek. That means documents, sculptures, trees, bikes, cars, entire rooms, and even people. The Polish-born, New York-based artist crochets room-size installations, costumes for dance companies, wearable sculpture–and objects on the street including buildings, windows, walls, and benches.
